Images taken by Francois Nars near his private island in Bora Bora show a mixture of Polynesian and Western cultures as they merge closer together. Refining processes used in the days of early photography such as calotypes, cyanotypes and faded film allow the images to assist the book design in presenting a pioneers journal aesthetic from a bygone time.
